Welcome to Quick-Kits Assembly Services (“Quick-Kits”, “Quickkas”, “we”, “our”, “us”). By booking, purchasing, or otherwise engaging our services, you (“the Client”, “you”, “your”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully, as they form a binding contract between you and Quick-Kits.

1. Scope of Services

Quick-Kits provides professional kitset and flat-pack assembly, disassembly, relocation, and packaging removal services across Auckland, Waikato, and surrounding areas. We assemble a wide range of items including, but not limited to: Furniture assembly (beds, tables, chairs, storage units) Outdoor furniture & trampolines Play sets & recreational equipment Gym equipment assembly (smith machines, weights, saunas, etc.) Office and commercial fit-outs

2. Payment Terms Standard Jobs

Full payment is due upon completion of services. Same-Day / Urgent Assembly – Requires a 25% deposit prior to commencement. Repeat Business & Commercial Clients – Invoicing arrangements can be discussed on a case-by-case basis. A gentleman’s handshake or written agreement is considered binding. Failure to Pay – Non-payment as per these terms may incur penalty charges, including: Interest at 5% per week overdue Recovery of collection costs and legal fees We accept payment via cash, bank transfer, or approved invoicing terms.

3. Right to Refuse or Cancel Work

Quick-Kits reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel services under the following conditions: Unsafe, hazardous, or unsuitable working environments Aggressive, abusive, or disrespectful behaviour by the Client or occupants Non-compliance with agreed payment terms Should this occur, deposits may be retained to cover costs already incurred.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Same-day cancellations may incur a 50% service fee. Deposits for urgent bookings are non-refundable unless Quick-Kits cancels the job.

5. Liability & Warranties

Quick-Kits takes care to ensure all assemblies are carried out to professional standards. We are not liable for: Manufacturer defects in kitset products Pre-existing damage to items or property Client misuse or failure to follow usage instructions Any claims of defective workmanship must be reported within 7 days of service completion.

6. Client Responsibilities

To ensure smooth service, Clients must: Provide clear access to the assembly area Ensure adequate space, lighting, and safety conditions Confirm that all parts, instructions, and required items are present before assembly begins Failure to do so may result in additional charges or rescheduling.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with New Zealand law, including:Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 Fair Trading Act 1986 Contract and Commercial Law Act 2017 Clients agree that any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
